On Saturday, March 1, 2025, our community gathered at Benito Juarez Community Academy for the Annual Concert of Hrvatska škola Kardinal Stepinac. The dancers and tamburaši of Klub Stepinac took the stage together with our 7th and 8th graders, and we were honored to welcome three guest groups: the Croatian Jr. Tamburitzans of St. Louis, the Milwaukee Croatian Tamburitzans and Hrvatska Loza Chicago. To the sound of the tamburica, they brightened and enriched our celebration with colorful folklore, traditional Croatian dances and customs from many different regions of our homeland. After the concert, the celebration continued with a banquet at St. Jerome.
A heartfelt thank you to our guests, and to all our organizers, teachers and parents for their perseverance in preserving our culture and our togetherness. Hvala od srca!
