The dancers and tamburaši of Klub Stepinac took the stage together with our 7th and 8th graders, and we were honored to welcome three guest groups: the Croatian Jr. Tamburitzans of St. Louis, the Milwaukee Croatian Tamburitzans and Hrvatska Loza Chicago (Croatian Vines Chicago). To the sound of the tamburica, they filled the stage with colorful folklore and with traditional Croatian dances and customs from many regions of our homeland. After the concert, the celebration continued with a banquet at St. Jerome.

Our invitation before the weekend said it best: come play and sing together with us in our St. Jerome hall!

Weekends like this are what our Annual Concert is all about: sharing our songs and dances and building friendships among Croatian communities across the Midwest.

A heartfelt thank you to our guests, to the school board members who took care of tickets, and to all our organizers, teachers and parents for their perseverance in preserving our culture and our togetherness.
