On Saturday, March 28, 2026, Hrvatska škola Kardinal Stepinac welcomed Dejan Nemčić, a geography professor from Zagreb, to St. Jerome. In the big hall, he gave our students a special geography presentation.
We were also happy to host the Croatian Center School from the north side, whose students joined us for the presentation and the lunch that followed. It was a wonderful chance for children from both schools to meet, and participation was great!
The visit was organized together with the Office for Croats Abroad and Andrea Katić Bruno, Coordinator of Croatian Schools in the United States. Thank you to our teachers, who helped translate key parts of the presentation, and to everyone who made the day possible.
